MWI is proud to offer the following benefits to our employees:

All employee benefits described below are available on the first of the month following the successful completion of your 90-day trial service period.

MWI GROUP MEDICAL HEALTH INSURANCE BENEFITS
MWI provides a comprehensive Employee Group Medical Plan in which you may elect to participate. All participating employees pay a portion of the premium as determined by the plan of benefits they select and the number of members covered under the plan. MWI currently offers 4-tier coverage (single, employee & spouse, employee & children and family coverage).

MWI GROUP DENTAL BENEFITS
MWI provides group dental coverage with one of the nations largest provides of dental benefits on a voluntary basis. We offer a DMO and a PPO plan. You may choose the plan that is best for you.

401(k) PLAN
You are eligible to enroll in the MWI Employees’ Incentive Savings Plan (401(k) Plan) on the first of the month following your first 90 days of employment or monthly thereafter. This is a qualified retirement savings plan that allows you to contribute up to 16% of your wages to the plan on a tax-deferred basis and select from a variety of investment options. The 401(k) plan is a substantial benefit to our employees in helping them plan for their retirement.

SECTION 125 PLAN
You may know this as a Cafeteria Plan or Flexible Benefits Plan. This program enables you to pay for your qualified benefits with pre-tax dollars and permits you the opportunity to select additional benefits. We have retained the leaders in supplementary benefits and they offer a wide range of products, such as short-term disability, hospital and accident supplemental coverage, and additional life insurance.

GROUP LIFE INSURANCE
MWI pays 100% of the premium for $25,000 group life insurance for each full-time employee following the initial 90-day trial service period.

ETA BANK
MWI has a benefit we call the ETA (Excused-Time-for-Absence) Bank. For each calendar year of your employment, you receive 11 days to use for personal time, sick time or vacation time as you choose as long as you request the time beforehand and it is approved by your immediate supervisor. (Your initial number of days is prorated based on your date-of-hire.)

ADDITIONAL VACATION
MWI has a Vacation Shutdown once per year that begins the last week in December and runs through the 1st of the year. This shutdown consists of 5 vacation days, the Christmas holiday and the New Year’s holiday. This Annual Vacation Shutdown is a paid vacation for all tenured, eligible employees in good standing. (This vacation time is paid in full for employees who have been employed for one year or more. Within the first year of employment, the paid days are pro-rated. The Rental Division is the only segment of MWI that does not shutdown, and can use these days within the set guidelines.)

All employee benefits including the those listed above, are subject to government regulations. MWI is committed to compliance with all local, state and federal laws and regulations. The entire package, including vacations, paid holiday, health insurance, dental plan, “ETA” bank days, credit union, direct deposit program & company policies are included in the employee handbook. They will be reviewed during your first week of employment and again during your benefits orientation.

MWI is an “at-will” employer and the employee handbook serves only as a guideline to the benefits, company policies and company procedures; it does not serve as an employee contract or agreement. The Human Resources Department will review all your benefits and provide you with a personalized Benefits and Company Policy Guidebook.
